Zanessa - Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party Interview

It's every teenager's dream -- Zac Efron and Jesse McCartney on one roof! ET was there as Zac, Jesse, Vanessa Hudgens, and Rumer Willis partied on the top of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for the 6th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party.
They caught up with Zac, who opened up to ET about his good friend and former co-star Nikki Blonsky and her recent airport incident. "She's one of my best friends, and it's so unfortunate what happened to Nikki." ET also spoke with Vanessa about the pressure on young actresses to be thin in Hollywood. Watch the young starlet weigh in on the controversy!
Inside the party, the teen sensations were treated to a special live performance by one of this year's break-out bands, MGMT, and viewed the latest spring designs from fashion designer Luella Bartley. The party was in celebration of the Young Hollywood edition of Teen Vogue magazine. The issue will profile 19 young actors and actresses on the cusp of stardom as well as some bigger teen stars like the cast of 'High School Musical.'

Zac Efron plays Mr. Cool at the 2008 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party on Thursday in Los Angeles.
The 20-year-old High School Musical heartthrob, who popped his jacket collar a lot on the red carpet, attended the event on the rooftop of The Los Angeles County Museum of Art with on-and-off-screen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
Zac is Teen Vogue's cover boy for their October 2008 issue. The month before, Vanessa graced the cover of the teen mag.

HSM3 - "Can I Have This Dance" & "Just Getting Started" Released on iTunes

Hey Wildcats! Today's the big day for ya, iTunes released TWO songs from High School Musical 3: Senior Year - "Can I Have This Dance" by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens (lyrics available HERE), "Just Getting Started" by Stan Carrizosa (a single from High School Musical: Get In The Picture). Each song cost $0.99.
Since everyone's busy revamping their look for the new school year, I thought I'd reach out to Caroline Marx -- the costume designer who gets to dress all the stars in "High School Musical 3" -- to see what the teens will be wearing at East High when they hit the big screen in October.
"We have so many characters and they all have their own distinct personality and style," explains Marx. "None of the characters can trade clothes." Although the designer admits she likes dressing Kelsi (played by Olesya Rulin) and Martha (played by Kaycee Stroh) best, this time around I ask her to focus on the style of a few other "HSM" faves:
Troy (Zac Efron) "channels a young James Dean/young Elvis look. Zac prefers Diesel jeans. They fit him well, so [his character] wears lots of slim-cut Diesel jeans and James Perse classic t-shirts with Converse high tops or low-top Vans." He also wears several plaid and solid Tank Farm and Varvatos for Converse over-shirts.
Gabriella (Vanessa Anne Hudgens) is "the girl next door. Her look is very accessible [the majority of her flowered frocks are from American Eagle], but as her character grows in the film she becomes more self-aware and begins to take on a bohemian style of dress." To get this look she wears brands such as Free People, Velvet, and Miss Sixty. Gabriella also carries two unique Miele purses in the movie made from recycled t-shirts by a village of women in South Africa.
Sharpay's (Ashley Tisdale) look is "very expensive, fashion forward, and over the top. 60% of her wardrobe I actually designed and had made. We kept away from [Sharpay's signature] bubble gum pink and used fuschia instead, which is a hot color this coming season. Ashley wanted a lot of crystals on her character's clothing, so I added Swarovski crystals to some amazing dresses that were from Miss Sixty."

Zac Efron to Star in 'Dreamcoat'?

Zac Efron is possibly looking to make his West End theater debut with the part of Joseph in the musical, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat according to the Mirror.
The 20-year-old High School Musical actor reportedly spoke with Andrew Lloyd Webber about the part. Lee Mead, who currently plays Joseph, will be leaving in January.
An inside source commented, "It is a marriage made in musical heaven. Zac loves the role and is keen to clock up some stage time in London. For Hollywood actors a spell in the West End offers credibility and can be extremely lucrative!"
