The on-screen and off-screen couple are getting ready for their promotional tour of High School Musical 3 on the big screen, slated for an Oct. 24th release. Advanced tickets sales are now available at selected locations.
Via Wiki: Now high school seniors, Troy Bolton (Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Hudgens) are facing the prospect of being separated from each other as they go off in different directions when graduating from East High. That point was reinforced further Wednesday (September 24), as its movie studio invaded Kodak Theatre with everyone from Miley Cyrus to Johnny Depp to the cast of "High School Musical" in tow.
Thousands of VIPs packed in to get a sneak peek of every Disney film between now and 2012. Earlier in the morning's festivities, Cook brought "HSM" stars Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and others out onstage to show a trailer from October's "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," then awkwardly ushered them offstage without so much as a single question.

V's boyfriend Zac Efron recently spoke about having to work so hard to catchup to the teen queen in practicing for the HSM3 movie!
"I started rehearsals two weeks later than everybody else so I had to put in extra time to catch up," said Zac. "I had to learn the waltz and some ballroom stuff, which was interesting."
"I do not know why people ever did it. It is so unbelievably hard. I thought 'Was this really classed as fun?' It was so difficult to learn. When I got the hang of it and got it down it was OK.
"Luckily with Vanessa, she is so easy to dance with. She kind of leads me! She made it a lot easier but we practiced a lot."

Zac Efron has revealed that he has no plans to turn his hand to music.
‘I don’t think I could contribute something to the industry that wouldn’t be something you’ve seen before,’ he tells OK! USA.

Yet, he's had his greatest success to date as the director of the phenomenally popular High School Musical films, the third of which, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, arrives in cinemas later this year.

As soon as we saw the online trailer for "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," we were salivating all over our keyboards in anticipation. What will become of Troy and Gabriella? Will Sharpay finally get over herself? And, more importantly, what will they be wearing? Well, lucky for us, MSN got ahold of "HSM3" costume designer Caroline Marx, who gave us a few hints as to what to expect from our favorite East High School students.
When it comes to fashion, we all know who is queen: Sharpay Evans (played by Ashley Tisdale). Marx hints that Sharpay wears "all the hot colors for this coming season: cobalt blue, fuchsia and metallic." What ... you thought she'd be strolling around in greys and browns?
As for "HSM3" jumping to the big screen, Marx says "so many more elements come into play since everything is going to be viewed on such a large scale. Everything is seen down to the buttons and the color of shoelaces." Here's to viewing Sharpay's accessories in high def!
