Young Hollywood royalty Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens snuggle close together on at the InStyle/Warner Bros after-party at the Oasis Court in the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday night.
The duo was attached at the hip throughout the whole evening and hung out with mutual friends — Megan Fox, Hayden Panettiere and Zac’s Hairspray costars Brittany Snow and Amanda Bynes. Zac was ever the good boyfriend–he carried around Vanessa’s clutch!

Vanessa Hudgens glows in a gold Alberta Ferretti gown at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday evening.
The 20-year-old actress accompanied boyfriend Zac Efron (in a Burberry suit, Ferragamo shoes and IWC watch) to the award ceremony. Zac will present Best TV Drama Actor with Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere.
Zac admitted he was nervous to present. He said, "I can't believe it. [I] 100% [get nervous before presenting at awards shows]. Absolutely. Plus, you have to sit in a car for 1/2 hour before and just dwell on what you're' going to do at the show... I got out of the car to stretch because we were waiting so long."

Vanessa and Zac appeared on the Red Carpet together at the Golden Globe Awards and they were interviewed together on NBC. We've got a great, hdtv captured video of that interview posted HERE for ya. Be sure to check back soon for even more videos of the two from the night.
ZAC Efron is sitting in the power position of a room on the 23rd floor of a five-star city hotel, looking, a little incongruously, as if he's adopted the mannerisms of a menacing mafia boss.
He’s nestled in an oversize armchair that faces the door and there’s an empty chair opposite in a scene that’s reminiscent of an interrogation in an old black-and-white movie.
The afternoon sun streams through the window behind Efron, bathing him in a protective blanket of back-lighting, which makes it difficult to see his face - and those famous baby blues that have tweens around the world swooning.

The 21-year-old actor picked up some office supplies, including a 3-drawer counter top unit and multiple desk organizers. Zac must have a lot of clutter to organize!
Zac and girlfriend Vanessa, along with their other High School Musical co-stars, are rumored to be attending KayCee Stroh's wedding this weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah. It'll be a short trip for Zac though, he's set to present at the Golden Globe Awards this Sunday.
Zac Efron sheds his goody-two-shoes image to voice the character of lounge singer "Billy Joel" in this new clip from Adult Swim's animated series Robot Chicken.
In the show, the 21-year-old former High School Musical star beats a sailor over the head with a beer bottle, dumps his body in the ocean and manically laughs about it.
Zac even gets to belt out his own rendition of Billy Joel's "The Piano Man"! But in the end... his character gets brutally (but amusingly) stabbed to death.

Zac Efron is the latest celeb to be added to the all-star line-up presenting at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards this Sunday (January 11) in Los Angeles.
The 21-year-old 17 Again actor will join the Jonas Brothers, Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively, and Heroes Hayden Panettiere among others at the award show where director Steven Spielberg will be honored.
So set your Tivos to see Zac — the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air on Sunday @ 8PM ET/PT on NBC.

Hairspray 2: White Lipstick -- Official Movie Title!

Hairspray director Adam Shankman spilled the beans about the sequel to New Line's blockbuster movie-musical and just how Zac Efron and Brittany Snow fit into the big picture.
Hairspray 2: White Lipstick is the sequel's official movie title, which was actually the original title for 1998's Hairspray. Shankman dished to MTV on more of teen idol Zac, 21, and less of Brittany, 22. Here's what he had to say:
On Link Larkin getting hooked on acid: "I think that's probably part of the treatment that won't get used. And in the treatment, [Efron's drug use] is an accident. That's the kind of stuff where you're like: 'Yeah, I don¡¯t know if that¡¯s going to work.'"
On who will take the place of the Von Tussles, the villians of the movie: "There'll be a change in villains. [John Waters' treatment] is ideas that we're just going to pick and choose from, and we'll see what happens with it. Probably [no Michelle Pfeiffer]. Not because we didn't love her, but because we just thought different adversaries [would be necessary]."
On the Vietnam War backdrop: "No, it wasn't Zac."

'Hairspray 2: White Lipstick' Director Plans To Sober Up Zac Efron, Subtract A Big Star

Last post, we broke big news on John Waters' bizarre, top-secret script treatment blueprinting the upcoming "Hairspray 2." The details were so weird, in fact, that as news spread across the Web some people thought composer / producer Marc Shaiman was joking.
Naturally, we had to take the story to the man himself, "Hairspray" director Adam Shankman - who not only confirmed it all, but also told us about a title possibility and the big-name star who won't be returning when the sequel hits theaters in July 2010.
Shankman admitted that while Waters does indeed want squeaky-clean Zac Efron to take acid ("or something like that"), the director will likely yank out that controversial story detail before they go to script. "I think that's probably part of the treatment that won't get used. And in the treatment, [Efron's drug use] is an accident," he said, explaining that he also won't be asking the "High School Musical" star to have trippy conversations with the acne on his forehead. MTV Movies Blog has been hearing rumblings of a "Hairspray" sequel for months. Just last week, director Adam Shankman confirmed that John Waters himself was writing an outline that would take Zac Efron, Queen Latifah and the rest into the late Sixties. Now, MTV has the scoop on all the insanity that could only come from the twisted "Pink Flamingos" mastermind.
"Scott and I are certainly on board," Oscar-nominated composer / producer Marc Shaiman assured us, saying he'll once again return with partner Scott Wittman to the musical / movie franchise they helped build from Waters' 1988 cult film. "John Waters wrote a treatment that is so f¨Cking hysterical!"
Shaiman, Wittman, returning director Adam Shankman and a few others recently read Waters' outline, and his die-hard fans will be glad to know that the outrageous filmmaker is once again proudly pushing the envelope. The 21-year-old actor, who continued to rock out his Diesel "Thanaz 8LP" jeans and CPO Jacket, is said to return for the Hairspray sequel. His costar Nikki Blonsky said earlier this week, "Zac has said he'd love to do it again, and I know Brittany Snow is down for sure. I don't know about Amanda [Bynes]. I hope she will. I want to put on my Tracy Turnblad wig again and dance my little heart out."
