Zac Efron: I Forgot My Socks!

Zac Efron sits down with The Today Show's Richard Wilkins in Australia to talk all things 17 Again. The 21-year-old performer is in the land down under to promote the film and dished to the news anchor on the Oscars, his next project and his socks. Check it:
On packing to travel: "My mistake is that I leave things home too much. I leave all the important things at home. I showed up here in Australia and I forgot socks."
On working with Hugh Jackman at the Oscars: "I actually asked if there was any opportunity to present at the awards and they said, 'No, no you can't present at the awards. But you can perform.' I was like, 'Me, perform? Who else is doing it?' They said Hugh Jackman. Done. I was in."
On getting through the performance: "I've never been so nervous in my entire life. The trick is you can't look down. There are so many incredible actors and actresses just all around you and if you look down for a second, you might actually look at Angelina Jolie. My hat fell off at the end because I was making eye contact."
On what's in store for the future: "I don't know actually. This is an important step for me, so I'm making it a point to take my time and choose wisely."

 Zac Efron hands the basketball off to his "son" Sterling Knight in this new still from their new flick, 17 Again.
17 Again is about a guy, Mike O'Donnell, whose life didn't quite turn out how he wanted it to and wishes he could go back to high school and change it. He wakes up one day and is seventeen again and gets the chance to rewrite his life. Zac plays the young Mike while Sterling is his son, Alex.
Zac, 21, premiered 17 Again in Sydney last night. Also be sure to enter to win Zac's SIGG water bottle!

Later tonight, The 21-year-old actor is set to premiere his new flick, 17 Again, tonight at Hoyts in the Entertainment Quarter. 17 Again hits theaters in Australia on April 9th.
Zac will also make an appearance alongside comedian Russell Brand on popular TV show, Rove, on Sunday, March 15th.

As part of the Disney Dream Portrait Series, world-renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz transformed High School Musical stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens into dashing Prince Phillip and lovely Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. D23 paid a visit to the photo shoot and got the inside-scoop from the adorable couple!
D23: Zac, you mentioned you watched Disney films growing up, and Vanessa I'm sure you did too. Did you have a particularly favorite when you were younger?
VH: Mine was probably Aladdin.

 Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will be portraying Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip from the Disney classic Sleeping Beauty in a new portrait from famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
JJJ saw the gorgeous photo last month and you won't be disappointed! There's no liplock... but it certainly comes super close. Hubba hubba hubba!
To make the picture even better, though, we think Disney should have added in the three Sleeping Beauty fairies Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather.

The 21-year-old actor weighed in on his role in 17 Again, which producers describe as an opposite Big, the 1988 film starring Tom Hanks.
Zac shared, "I was wondering at the beginning -- how is this gonna work? How am I gonna... you know... (fall for an older lady on-screen?) And by the end of the first rehearsal, I had such a big crush on Leslie [Mann], I didn't have to fake it. Now I know how Ashton Kutcher feels."
17 Again hits theaters on April 17th.

Zac Efron: Hair Flip Fun

 Zac Efron flips his long hair out of his eyes as he leaves his home in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (March 5).
The 21-year-old actor (in a gray LNA tee) recently dished to Elle magazine that he didn't fully understand High School Musical's success. He shared, "I liked being the kid in the adult circle. As far back as I can remember, I couldn't understand or relate to a lot of kids. I still don't understand how High School Musical became a hit. I'm going to make as many lighthearted movies as I can. Every time we started a new High School Musical movie, I wanted to keep that kid inside of me alive."
Zac also shared about meeting fellow actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, saying, "A few nights later (after the GQ party), I was at a Lakers game and I texted him, and he said he was coming. And this guy in a ball cap and coat with the collar up sits next to me. We talked the whole game, and he was just everything I thought he would be: smart, level-headed, charming, hilarious. You know, the older-brother vibe."
