Zac, 21, placed on the prestigious TIME 100 list, landing at number 56. His Me and Orson Welles costar Claire Danes writes about the heartthrob, "Zac met these demands with focus, humility and enthusiasm -- and the result is breathtaking. It seems Zac is not only an entertainer but also an artist. He is going make us swoon for many years to come."

The 21-year-old actor just returned from the last leg of promo for his new flick, 17 Again.
Zac is featured in TIME’s 100 Most Influential People list, landing right in the middle at number 56. The con that was listed: “For someone looking to be taken seriously, a planned remake of Footloose seems like a very bad idea.” Zac is no longer attached to the project.

Zac Efron slicks his hair back and suits up for the premiere of 17 Again held at Madrid’s Kinepolis Cinema on Tuesday evening (April 28).
The 21-year-old actor kept it casual in plaid for the photo call this morning.
Actress Elizabeth Banks blogged on The Huffington Post about Zac’s new flick, saying, “Zac Efron did not disappoint. He’s charming, makes use of many fingers while ‘twirling a basketball’ (you get it) and looks great with his shirt off (some term that ’star power’). At one point, I drooled.”

Before taking off, Z and his mom also enjoyed a meal at KŠfer roof top restaurant at Reichstag building.

See ya later, musicals. That's Zac Efron's message to the world of song and dance. Not only are there no more High School Musicals in his future, but he made international headlines last week when he pulled out of the Footloose remake.
"It doesn't mean no more musicals forever, but right now I had so much fun doing 17 Again that I think that's the direction I wanna head in," Efron told me at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. And it certainly sounds like he's taking another step in that direction with The Death & Life of Charlie St. Cloud...
It was just announced that Efron has signed on to the movie adaptation of Ben Sherwood's novel of the same name about a cemetery caretaker who communicates with his dead younger brother. Efron admits the premise "sounds very grim," but promised, "It's a fantastic story." "It's a little bit more grown-up," the 21-year-old Efron said. "It deals with some heavy material."

Vivica A. Fox has slammed reports claiming that she is eyeing Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron. And added that magazines have misinterpreted her praising comments about the actor's good looks.
The 44-year-old has been open about her likeness for younger men, but was taken aback after her remarks about 21-year-old Efron were exaggerated, accusing her of wanting to woo the star.
In an interview with PopEater.com, Fox said: "Zac Efron is just so gorgeous to me. He's a hot piece. I want just to look at those beautiful blue eyes... They're are just... 'Wow!' Muy caliente (very hot)," reports Contactmusic.
However, the actress has insisted that she only has an innocent crush on Efron, who is dating his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens.
"They said, 'Out of all the actors out there, who do you find attractive?' I said, 'Zac Efron.' I said he has nice blue eyes... and now they're like, 'Vivica's on the prowl for Zac Efron.' He has a girlfriend. I don't do other people's men,' she said.
